Data Acquisition Pty Limited designs and manufactures a full range of high performance LC Pre Selector Filters covering the Frequency Spectrum from 10 KHz to about 1000 MHz
Standard Filter designs offered include Butterworth, Chebyshev and Elliptic, in High Pass (HP), Low Pass (LP) or Bandpass (BP) realisations.
High performance Elliptic designs of up to 7th or 9th order are offered.
Pre Selector Filters to Customer specification are very often included in Matrix Switch and Multicoupler Designs.
These Filters can also be integrated with standard RF Panel Mounting connectors to provide a 'Filtered Connector' (see below).
In addition to supporting front end Product design, a stand alone Filter Design and Manufacturing service is also offered, either as one off, or volume production.

RESPONSE PLOT 1: A Typical HF High Pass Filter.
This Filter is typically used to provide good rejection of interfering signals from Broadcast bands below the HF lower limit.
This is a typical 7th Order Elliptic Response.
RESPONSE PLOT 2: A Typical UHF Band Pass Filter
This type of Filter is typically used to provide good rejection of interfering signals either side of the desired VHF / UHF Passband.
The Filter shown below was realised by cascading a 5th Order High Pass Elliptic section with a 7th Order Low Pass Elliptic section.
Filtered Connectors comprise a standard Bulkhead RF Connector, fitted with an in line LC Filter on the output side of the Connector.
The Output connector is an MMCX (female) on the rear of the Unit. Cable types include RG178 and RG316.
The Filter can be Cusrtomer specified Low Pass (LP), High Pass (HP) or Bandpass (BP), 5th or 7th order Elliptic design.
Connector types available include: N TNC or BNC.
The Filter profile fits within the Connector body, and the overall length is between 24mm and 36mm, depending on the Filter type.
